I’m so glad you stopped by! I’m Jennie Contreras, the owner and photographer behind Lotta Love Photo, based in beautiful Aspen, Colorado.

In 1997, I moved from New Hampshire to Nantucket and eventually made my way to Aspen for what was supposed to be “just one winter.” I quickly fell in love with the stunning scenery, mountain lifestyle, and strong sense of community, and I’ve called Aspen home ever since.

I’m also a mom to three teenagers who grew up with a camera constantly in front of them. Looking back now, I realize just how meaningful those captured moments truly are. The tiny stages, changing personalities, genuine laughter, and everyday moments that once felt small have become some of my most treasured memories — and that is exactly why I love preserving those moments for other families.

My passion for photography began when I was twelve years old and has grown into a lifelong creative passion. I’m drawn to authentic emotion, natural connection, beautiful light, and the little in-between moments that often become the most meaningful images of all.

Lotta Love Photo specializes in natural light portrait photography throughout Aspen and the Roaring Fork Valley, including family photography, couples sessions, senior portraits, children, newborns, maternity, professional headshots, and fine art landscape photography. My goal is always to create timeless images that feel genuine, emotional, and beautifully natural.
